The Bosses in Pony Vs Pony - Battle is Magic are the opponents you battle against before each time you level up. When you get enough experience to fill your level bar completely, you'll unlock the next boss that's one level higher than you. Beating them will level you up. They can be fought again at any time for additional experience.
All of the bosses don't have MagiPets, making them easy to fight. Edger Allen Pony has a MagiPet on his head, but unlike other pets, this one acts as a head accessory and not a pet for battles, still making candy orbs useless for that boss.
The bosses' cupcake levels only show "???" and are formulated differently: The bosses' AI always play at a cupcake level speed lower than the cupcake level you have.
Most of the bosses are based on famous people or characters, or Artix developers.
